July 2010 -2014 MVU-FC Post Outage (Suncor Major Project) - Planner / Scheduler Environment Suncor Company is an integrated energy company
strategically focused on developing Athabasca-Canada oil sands. Athabasca one
of the world's largest petroleum resource basins. Mostly Suncor projects are
located in Fort McMurray. Fort McMurray, Alberta, is located about 435
kilometers northeast of Edmonton, nestled in the boreal forest at the
confluence of the Athabasca and Clearwater rivers. This Project is located in the base plant of Suncor .MVUFC was created to
increase the overall plant capacity from 275,000 to 350,000 BPD and estimated
cost was $282M. This project was included modifications to the vacuum unit
and debottleneck of the cocker unit i.e. Mechanical, Steel Structure,
Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation and EHT.(This project comprised of
Plant 52, Plant 56, Plant 57 and installation of various pumps, several
exchangers, Civil Works, Deluge Piping, Heavy Naphtha Piping, Heavy Naphtha
electrical/instrumentation, Slop oil Piping, Anti-vibration Stakes, HAGO
& HVGO System, Underground Piping, Road Works and Fire proofing). ·
Develop
schedule in central P3e/c (P-5) database based on the budgeted hours,
drawings and project scope of work and linked logically with the work
sequence & with the minimum possible target and imposed or constraint
dates ·
Resource
loaded with labor resources - per trade/ material resources/loaded with
equipment resources and attach to the proper calendar ·
Resource
levelling and analyses to be sure that whatever resource required completing
the job is available and leveled to avoid any unexpected spike over the
project life cycle. Once the schedule is completed, reviewed and approved by
